As animal shelters continue to bulge with unwanted pets due to the sub prime financial crisis, talk still circulates about unusual pet behaviour just before and at the time of an earthquake.

Pet lover Abigail Breslin, child star of "Little Miss Sunshine" and Academy Award nominee will launch her latest film "Nim's Island" next month. The movie is a fantasy adventure about a young girl, "Nim", lost at sea with her scientist father.
